Overview

Juta sits at 2,150 m beneath the jagged Chaukhi massif. The trail climbs through flower meadows to the Fifth Season hut and on to the glacial lakes below the peaks — around 12 km and 600 m of ascent, with the most dramatic scenery of the Kazbegi region.
